Jazz Facing Historic Ouster
The Utah Jazz were short-tempered and sullen after searching game tapes Friday for ways to avoid making NBA history in the worst possible fashion.
After losing three in a row to Denver, Utah could become the first team to lose a playoff series after leading 3-0. That isn’t all that plagues the Jazz before today’s Game 7.
Karl Malone, still stinging from Jazz owner Larry Miller’s criticism of his performance, says he might leave the team. Miller also got into a scuffle with Denver fans at Tuesday’s game.
Miller apologized for both incidents Thursday. But Malone said Friday that relations remained strained.
The Nuggets are trying to repeat their first-round rebound from an 0-2 deficit to oust Seattle.
