LEIMERT PARK : Art Show Features Works of 21 Students
The Inglewood Pacific chapter of the Links Inc. is hosting an art show and reception featuring works by students from five local high schools from 2 to 4 p.m. today at Gallery Plus, 4333 Degnan Blvd.
The show features paintings, ink drawings, photographs and other works by 21 students from Crenshaw, Westchester, Inglewood and Morningside high schools as well as the Los Angeles County High School of the Arts. Cash prizes for the top three entries and eight honorable mentions will be announced during the exhibit.
This is the second annual high school art show sponsored by the Links, a national community service organization. The Inglewood chapter has been collecting entries through art instructors since December, spokeswoman Katie Robinson said.
