HUNTINGTON BEACH : Players’ Parents Can Attend Soccer Clinic

A free workshop for parents interested in helping out during children’s soccer games will be held June 12 from 2 to 5 p.m. at College View School, 6582 Lennox Drive.

The featured speaker will be John Ouellette, the American Youth Soccer Organization’s national director of coaching. Ouellette, who is based in Utah, will speak on “Sportsmanship and Ethics.”

The session is being sponsored by Region 55 of AYSO.

“The purpose is help (adult) volunteers, and this clinic is open to anyone, whether or not they live in Huntington Beach,” said Carol Abdou, a parent-volunteer in Region 55.
