LAGUNA HILLS : Center Seeks Goods for Rummage Sale
Saddleback Community Outreach, a center that provides emergency assistance to indigent families and homeless people, needs donations of furniture, electrical appliances and other used goods for a June 11 rummage sale.
Outreach officials are especially interested in baby furniture and other infant goods. No adult clothing is being sought.
The money raised from the rummage sale, which will be held at the center between 8 a.m. and noon, will be used to help pay outreach services such as vouchers issued to the poor for groceries, clothing, utility bills, transportation to the hospital and car repairs. The center recently began offering a renter’s loan program and a job referral service.
Call the center at (714) 380-8144 before dropping off donations at the outreach warehouse, at 23011 Moulton Parkway, Suite B-5, in Laguna Hills.
