Eleven schools in the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District will have new principals this fall.

The changes are part of the district’s plan to rotate principals every five years, a policy adopted to allow school administrators to work at a variety of schools.

District officials also announced that they would conduct a job search for three principals to replace El Dorado High School Principal JoAnn Ball and Rose Drive Elementary School Principal Audell Jackson, who are retiring at the end of this school year, and Yorba Linda Middle School Principal Ken Lorge, who will become the district’s administrator of child welfare and attendance.
