Sheriff’s authorities have arrested a 44-year-old Stanton man on suspicion of molesting two teen-age boys he befriended while running a baseball card shop near Magnolia High School in Anaheim.

Investigators arrested Luis Daniel Garcia on Friday on suspicion of child molestation and sexual exploitation of a child, Lt. Dan Martini reported Wednesday. The suspect is being held at Orange County Jail.

Martini said investigators believe there could be other victims, and ask anyone with information to call the Sheriff’s Department Sex Crimes Unit at (714) 647-7479. Garcia, who has lived in Orange County for 20 years, may have been a coach in local baseball leagues, Martini said.

The alleged molestation of the two boys, identified only as ages 14 and 15, occurred in Stanton and Westminster from 1992 to the present, Martini said.

After befriending the boys at the baseball card shop, Martini said Garcia allegedly invited them to his Stanton apartment to view sexually explicit videos and magazines. The suspect allegedly molested the boys and recorded some of the acts on video without their knowledge, Martini said.
