SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO : Task Force Seeks People in Business
Members of the business community are being sought to join a community task force.
The nine-member group will investigate how to improve the business climate in San Juan Capistrano in several areas, including persuading local merchants and companies to stay in the city, attracting new businesses and making the downtown district more appealing to shoppers.
City officials say the task force will meet every two weeks and will make recommendations to the City Council.
Those interested should call Douglas Dumhart or Cassandra Walker in City Hall at (714) 493-1171. The forms must be filed by June 16.
