Free-Agent Taylor Signs Contract With the Rams

The Rams announced the signing Friday of unrestricted free-agent cornerback Terry Taylor, who played the last two seasons with the Cleveland Browns. Taylor, 32, played for Ram Coach Chuck Knox in Seattle.

A 1984 first-round pick of the Seahawks from Southern Illinois, Taylor has 21 career interceptions for 228 yards and two touchdowns. The Seahawks traded Taylor to Detroit in 1990. The Browns then signed him as a Plan B free agent in 1992.

Last year with the Browns, Taylor had 43 tackles, 27 solo tackles, and nine passes defended.
