La Palma Hospital to Offer CPR Training
La Palma Intercommunity Hospital will conduct training for older adults in cardiopulmonary resuscitation on June 24 from 8 a.m. to noon in the main classroom at the hospital, 7901 Walker St.
The training is open to anyone 55 or older. The four-hour instruction course is being co-sponsored by the American Heart Assn. Participants will receive training using specially equipped manikins, and certificates will be awarded to those completing the training.
The $10 fee for the course includes materials. Registration and prepayment must be made by Friday. To register, call the hospital’s community education reservation line at (714) 670-6066 or (310) 921-4120, Ext. 6066.
