An Oxnard man who was shot at a friend’s house was killed by a shot fired through the kitchen window, Oxnard police detectives announced Monday.
But no suspect or motive has been identified in the slaying of Ricardo Gonzales, 38, police said.
Gonzales was visiting friends in the 200 block of Clara Street when he was shot Friday evening.
Investigators on Monday said evidence suggests that the killer was standing outside the house and fired through a kitchen window, hitting Gonzales in the upper torso. Police had no information on whether Gonzales was the intended target of the bullet.
