Share

Evening tours of the Japanese Gardens at the Donald C. Tillman Water Reclamation Plant in Van Nuys will be offered free to the public until Sept. 3, city officials said.

The gardens, located at 6100 Woodley Ave., have azaleas, cherry trees, magnolias, weeping willows, irises and waterlilies that are set around stone paths, ponds, waterfalls, bridges and a traditional Japanese-style building and teahouse.

Daytime tours are offered year-round on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The evening tours are offered Monday through Friday, but only during the summer months.
