A 42-year-old Garden Grove man suffered facial burns Sunday night when flames erupted inside a building where wooden mini-blinds are manufactured.

Trong Van Dang, an employee of Travis Industries, had second-degree burns to the side of his face from the 9:33 p.m. fire and was taken to Anaheim Medical Center, Anaheim Battalion Chief Roger Smith said.

Anaheim firefighters, assisted by an Orange County Fire Department unit, put out the blaze within minutes. The fire started in the lacquering section of the plant on East Leaverton Court.
