HUNTINGTON BEACH : Vintage Cars in Race to Be Shown Today
Fans of vintage cars can get a close look at cars participating in the Great American Race during a special display today at Huntington Beach Mall.
The free event will begin at 10 a.m. with entertainment by the U.S. Navy Band. The classic autos will be on display from noon to 3 p.m.
The mall is off the San Diego Freeway at Beach Boulevard.
The Great American Race will begin at noon Sunday from Huntington Beach Pier. The 80 teams, including nine from Orange County, will make stops in 45 cities across the country. The finish will be July 2 in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
