The hot rumor, hotter even than the weather and talk of the humidity, was that Belgian players had been seen at an Orlando-area nightclub Friday night. Asked if the rumor is true, Coach Paul Van Himst--who counts English among the handful of languages he speaks--was suddenly struck by selective comprehension.

So it was left to team press officer Guido de Windt to field the question. “We are not aware of any such problem,” he huffed.
