REGION : UCLA Seeks Volunteers for Study on Strokes
The UCLA Medical Center is seeking 150 volunteers ages 55 to 80 to take part in a study on the causes of strokes and memory loss.
Volunteers should be healthy and should not be taking medication for high blood pressure or heart ailments. Applicants will receive a free medical examination and, if chosen, will be paid $120 to complete the study.
Participants will visit UCLA six times for a variety of tests and will wear a 24-hour blood pressure monitor.
