FHP Honored: The FHP Medical Center in Garden Grove recently received an award from that city’s mayor, Frank Kessler, for its contributions to the community. The medical center was named Large Business of the Year.
The medical center formed a partnership with Ethel M. Evans Elementary School in Garden Grove. Center administrator Michael Coleman served as principal for a day, twice, and FHP has donated earthquake kits, invited students on tours and sponsored a poster contest.
The medical center has also provided nurses and doctors for the patients at the Garden Grove Adult Day Care Center, among other civic activities.
