Colombian midfielder Gabriel Gomez, who was withheld from the starting lineup Wednesday against the United States after receiving a death threat by fax at the team’s Fullerton hotel, has left the team, Maturana said saturday.
“It’s my understanding he is with his family in the United States,” Maturana said.
