Ex-Laguna Official Is New Avalon Manager
Robert Clark, who worked for the city of Laguna Beach for 13 years, took over as Avalon city manager this week.
Clark worked for the Parks and Recreation Department and held positions as assistant to the city manager and deputy city manager in Laguna Beach.
He will live on Catalina with his wife Judy, a Long Beach psychologist, and their three children.
Clark replaces Chuck Prince, who resigned in January after five years in the job, Assistant City Manager Peter Woolson said.
Clark was chosen from six finalists, Woolson said.
