Four men suspected of forcing their way into a 26-year-old woman’s apartment were being held Friday on suspicion of robbery and rape, police said Friday.

Neighbors saw four men with guns entering the woman’s apartment in the 1100 block of Mayfair Avenue about 3:45 p.m. Thursday and called police, Lt. Vince Howard said.

When officers arrived, the woman and her 6-year-old daughter were attempting to get out but one of the gunmen pulled them back into the apartment. A short time later, the woman and child were allowed to leave the apartment. The woman told police she had been raped. The child was not harmed, Howard said.

Officers ordered the men out of the apartment and three of them complied. They were immediately taken into custody. A fourth man stayed inside for 40 minutes before surrendering without incident. Police recovered four guns at the scene, Howard said.

Arrested were: Antonio Julian Valdez, 19, and Ray Nel Ramos, 22, both of Anaheim, and Douglas Joel Audette and Juan Pablo Camacho both 18 and from Buena Park. All were being held at Anaheim city jail.
