Company Town : Attorney Wohl Moves Up at Paramount Film Group

Paramount Pictures’ motion picture group has named attorney Linda Wohl senior vice president of legal issues for its music department.

Wohl, a Paramount lawyer since 1983, will negotiate music rights agreements and soundtrack album deals.

* Kushner-Locke named banker Lenore I. Nelson executive vice president and chief financial officer.

* Veteran sports television producer Michael Weisman was named president of Northwest Mobile Television in Seattle.

* Renaissance Pictures named David Eick vice president for television.

* Gary Silver has joined Atlantis Films L.A. as director of business affairs.

* Juliette Hohnen was promoted to Los Angeles news bureau chief for MTV News. Separately, Susan Feinberg was promoted to vice president for interactive media advertising sales for MT Networks.

* Karen Zimmer joined New Line Cinema as vice president for information services.

* TV Guide “Couch Critic” Jeff Jarvis was named editor in chief of Delphi Internet Services Corp.’s editorial services division, and Ezra Gottheil was promoted as the division’s general manager.

* Self magazine editor Alexandra Penney was named director of media development at Conde Nast.

* TriStar Pictures named Luis Allen and Andrea Levitt V.P.s of legal affairs.

* Dave McPherson was named artists and repertoire director for Jive Records.

* Lori Cloud has been named director of national promotion for MGM/UA Distribution Co.

* ITC Entertainment Group named Dawn Rivera director of licensing.

* Mark Hudson has joined Hollywood Records as staff producer.
