SOUTHWEST : Book Sale Saturday Aids Library Branch

A used book sale to benefit the Baldwin Hills branch of the Los Angeles Public Library will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the library, 2906 S. La Brea Ave.

The annual event, sponsored by the Friends of the Baldwin Hills Library, will include storytelling sessions, poetry readings and free refreshments. Proceeds will go toward library improvements, such as new paint, computer upgrading, replacing reference books and acquiring new books.
