Pacific Snax Ends Bid for Chips Firm

Share

Pacific Snax Corp. Monday withdrew its $2.5-million offer to buy Bob’s Texas Style Potato Chips Inc., a Brookshire, Tex., food company.

Pacific Snax, a Newport Beach maker and marketer of gourmet potato chips, said it withdrew the offer because of administrative and other delays but may reopen the talks later.

It added that the costs associated with the Bob’s acquisition have been small and would not have “any appreciable impact” on Pacific Snax.
