Therapist Denies Assaulting Patient
A 51-year-old physical therapist from Camarillo pleaded not guilty to two counts of sexually assaulting a woman patient, a prosecutor said.
Deputy Dist. Atty. Ron S. Bamieh said that Dennis Schwartz faces one count of sexual battery and one count of felony sexual penetration with a foreign object.
A trial for Schwartz, owner of Oxnard Physical Therapy, has been set for Oct. 3. If convicted, Schwartz faces up to eight years in prison. He is free on his own recognizance, Bamieh said.
