MISSION VIEJO : Development Board Applicants Sought
The city is trying to fill a vacancy on the Economic Development Commission, which is responsible for finding ways to boost the economy and attract new business.
The seat opened with the resignation of Tom Grable, 32, who moved to the neighboring community of Rancho Santa Margarita.
Grable, who served on the commission for some 18 months, will take a similar post in Rancho Santa Margarita.
Those interested in serving on the commission must file an application with the city clerk’s office by 5 p.m. on Aug. 12.
Commissioners are required to live in Mission Viejo and be a registered voter in the city.
