Regarding Jane Hall’s “The PrimeTime of Ms. Diane Sawyer” (Aug. 7), the question is posed: “Does Diane Sawyer deserve her $7-million contract with ABC News?” The answer is yes, and no. Yes, because anyone who can manage to extract such a ridiculously huge sum from the coffers of the lunatics who run ABC obviously deserves it. And no, because Sawyer is no more talented than thousands of other broadcasters doing the same thing every day without the media hype/fanfare provided by ABC promotion. And she admits this in the article. I hope this answers your question!
