Ken Griffey Sr. will join the coaching staff of the Bellingham Mariners for the remainder of the team’s Northwest League season, the Seattle Mariners said.
Griffey, who has been serving as a roving minor-league hitting instructor, will join Bellingham today, Mariner director of player development Jim Beattie said.
Griffey was Seattle’s hitting coach during the 1993 season.
