Disney Detractor

Re: Disney’s America (“Uncivil War Over Disney Plan,” Aug. 17): I am neither a stuffy egghead nor of the NIMBY group and I vigorously oppose Disney’s building their park in that area (Haymarket, Va.).

Anyone can take a look at the area around Disneyland in Anaheim and say “NITA--Not in That Area,” about Disney’s America. They should put it somewhere else, such as someplace where the unemployment is high.

Watch out for Disney, they always want the local entity to supply half the money to build their establishments.
