SANTA PAULA : Applicants Sought for Planning Board
The city of Santa Paula is soliciting applications to fill two seats on its seven-member Planning Commission.
City Administrator Arnold Dowdy said prospective commissioners must be registered voters who live in Santa Paula and be willing to attend two night meetings each month.
They also are required to file statements of economic interest with the California Fair Political Practices Commission.
The terms of incumbent commissioners Gabriella Reeves, appointed in 1991, and Shirley Hara, appointed in 1990, expire later this month, Dowdy said.
The Santa Paula Planning Commission is an advisory panel that makes recommendations on land-use and other applications to the Santa Paula City Council.
The deadline for applying is Wednesday. For more information, call city offices at 933-4200.
