COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Concordia Gets Rare Men’s Soccer Victory

Concordia got its first victory in more than a year, 1-0, over visiting Whittier in a nonconference men’s soccer game. It was the season opener for both teams.

Chris Kniep scored in the first half off an assist from Chris Miller. Concordia was 0-19 last season.

Cal State Dominguez Hills 3, Southern California College 1--Bryan Shoup scored late in the second half for visiting Southern California College (0-2). William Leal, Ernesto Gutierrez and Radim Konelny scored for Dominguez Hills (1-1).
