FAST FACT

The Brahmas are making a habit of breaking even. In the past two seasons, they were 10-10 overall and 9-9 in conference play.

OUTLOOK

Coming off a season marred by a brawl after a game, the Brahmas move to the North Division from the South and should challenge for a bowl invitation. Key returnees for Pierce include McKelvey--an All-State first-team selection--Jardine and Hampton, both All-WSC second-team picks. Add Mack and Smith to the mix and the Brahmas have the nucleus for a solid defensive unit. Receivers Williams and Hodge are quick, and all they need is someone to get them the ball. Quarterback Davis Delmatoff (1,961 yards passing) has transferred to Valley. Norton said that task initially will go to Muir, who played at Chatsworth High and redshirted at Washington State last season.
