GLENDALE : Children’s Chorus Seeks New Singers
A professional-caliber children’s chorus at a Glendale church is holding auditions for singers ages 7 to 16 this Sunday.
The Encore Children’s Chorus of Greater Los Angeles recently moved from a Pasadena church into its new home at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 1020 N. Brand Blvd. Eloise Gallardo, director of the chorus, said the group is seeking singers who can begin rehearsals next week for the choir’s upcoming 10th anniversary season.
“We’re excited about our move to Glendale and we welcome new singers to join,” Gallardo said. “The opportunity to learn a variety of musical styles, develop one’s voice and perform is very rewarding for the children.”
