DIRECTV Expanding Programming: The unit of GM Hughes Electronics, which delivers television programs via satellite to homes equipped with its dish systems, said it will start offering a programming package of up to 150 channels called “Total Choice” for $29.95 a month. The package will include such channels as CNN, ESPN, The Discovery Channel and various film channels.
