Irvine city officials are increasingly concerned about the lack of parking at popular shopping centers such as the Crossroads.

Irvine Target store manager Rich Hachigian thinks he can explain the parking shortage during peak hours.

His store, in the Crossroads center at Barranca Parkway and Culver Drive, is the top performer of all 13 Orange County Target stores.

The Irvine store has an average of 4,000 sales a day.
