COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Santa Barbara Sweeps Titans in Volleyball

Kim Keys had 16 kills to lead UC Santa Barbara to a three-game sweep of Cal State Fullerton in a Big West Conference women’s volleyball match Tuesday at Fullerton.

Heather Collins added 15 kills for the Gauchos, who won, 15-0, 15-5, 18-16. Jennifer Lipski had 10 kills and Chelsea Wilhite had seven for the Titans (0-10, 0-3 in conference). UC Santa Barbara is 10-3.

In nonconference women’s volleyball:

Chapman 3, Pomona-Pitzer 0--Shawna Parkinson had 14 kills and Addy Benard added 12 as host Chapman (8-3) won, 15-6, 17-15, 15-7.

In Golden State Athletic Conference women’s soccer:

California Baptist 3, Southern California College 1--Meggan Fleener scored in the second half for host Southern California College (2-4-1, 0-2). California Baptist is 2-5, 2-1.
