Ken Turner, Ohio State assistant coach,suffered from a heart attack while jogging and was in critical condition at Grant Medical Center in Columbus. He was stricken while running near his home in suburban Westerville. . . . Shareef Abdur-Rahim of Wheeler High School in Atlanta, one of the nation’s top college prospects, said he will attend California. The 6-foot-10 center, a Muslim, said that he chose Cal over Georgia Tech, Georgetown and Arkansas largely because he felt comfortable with the large Islamic population there.
