Forget Angels, Rams and a New Ballpark

Share

* I and many fans and would-be fans don’t agree with Katherine M. Babb, an Orange County architect and planning consultant, that we need a new stadium (“Forget the Strike, Forget Angels and Rams, We Deserve a New Ballpark,” Sept. 9).

Anaheim Stadium holds 64,593 people and is the second-largest stadium, next to Cleveland, of any baseball park. It has plenty of parking, good freeway access, it is clean and has courteous employees.

What we need is to help the Rams out--way out! We don’t need this spoiled owner. Just don’t let the door hit her on the way out.

The Autrys have apparently given up on getting a championship team.

With this market, I’m sure there are a number of winning teams that would love to come here.

Another thing needed is realistic ticket prices and parking prices. One thing we don’t need is for our city officials to keep giving our tax money away.

Show us a club interested in producing a winning team and reasonable prices and we will be back.
