Security Environmental Systems Inc.: The firm said Monday that it expects to report a sizable loss for its fiscal year, and that it will seek a second delay in filing a required annual report on its financial condition with federal regulators.

The hazardous waste disposal company, based in Huntington Beach, would not say how much it expected to lose, but said that it needs more time to prepare its annual report to the Securities and Exchange Commission because of recent changes in management and auditors.

Security Environmental also said Monday that it was awarded a contract to dispose of hazardous waste at military installations in the Jacksonville, Fla., area. The contract is valued at $7.6 million.
