A Pregnant Question for the First Lady

As Hillary Rodham Clinton’s spokesman, Neel Lattimore fields questions from inquiring minds every day. But he drew the line at this tabloid query: Is the First Lady pregnant?

“I don’t have the guts to ask her,” he said with a laugh.

A tabloid paper that hits the stands this week reports that “insiders” tell a British biographer Mrs. Clinton is due in April. The First Lady turns 47 next month.

“This is the same publication that said she adopted a space alien baby,” Lattimore said. “If they already have a space alien baby, I don’t know if they need another one.”
