Dorfman to Join Money Magazine: Financial journalist Dan Dorfman will leave USA Today to join the magazine as a senior writer, Money Magazine Editor Frank Lalli said. Dorfman, who is scheduled to make the move Jan. 1, will continue to appear daily on CNBC, Money said. At the magazine, Dorfman will contribute an investing column akin to the “Bottom Line” pieces he wrote for New York magazine in the mid-1970s and early 1980s, Lalli said. Dorfman has been a financial writer and Wall Street columnist for USA Today for eight years.
