Gustavo Herrera, 22, was found sprawled on a sidewalk in a residential neighborhood on Raemere Street about 3:50 a.m., the victim of multiple stab wounds, deputies said.

He was taken to St. John’s Pleasant Valley Hospital, where Administrator Jim Gintz said he was in serious condition in the intensive-care unit. He said Herrera suffered wounds to the head, neck, chest and arms.
