Cleanup: United Way Volunteers to Scrub 9 Sites
The United Way is planning a Community Care Day Saturday to clean up graffiti and litter throughout the Los Angeles area.
Organizers are expecting more than 250 volunteers from various private and public groups to scrub, clean and paint nine health and human services organization buildings funded by the United Way.
Volunteers will begin their day at a breakfast at St. John’s Hospital and Health Center in Santa Monica.
