Polowski Sets Mark in UCI’s Soccer Loss

UC Irvine’s P.J. Polowski set the school’s career-scoring record, but the Anteaters were upset by Nevada Las Vegas, 3-1, in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation men’s soccer game Sunday in Las Vegas.
Scoring for the Rebels (5-7, 1-1) were Coby Holt, Michael DuHanye and Damon Bradshaw. Polowski, from Orange Coast College, scored on a penalty kick with four minutes left for UCI (9-3, 2-1). He has 23 goals, including 12 this season. Kevin Smith (1989-92) had 22 goal for the Anteaters.
