Costa Mesa : Trustee Candidates Will Meet for Debate
The Costa Mesa High School Parent-Teacher-Student Assn. will sponsor a debate among Newport-Mesa Unified School District candidates at 7 p.m. Thursday.
PTSA volunteers will screen questions and moderate the debate. All declared candidates for the four open board seats are expected to attend.
In the months ahead, the board will grapple with issues including whether to allow drug-sniffing police dogs onto high school campuses and setting up a policy for dress codes, including the possible use of uniforms at schools that request them.
