Community: In Defense of Council Hopeful Barbara Yaroslavsky
As a person who has worked with Barbara Yaroslavsky on many different projects over the years, I can tell you firsthand of her inexhaustible energy when it comes to giving to the community. In no way is she anyone’s puppet (“Police Union Pledges Support for D’Agostino in Council Race,” Oct. 9). Her willingness to help or give time is her gift to you, no matter how big or small the request. In a city where people are preoccupied with their own needs and gains, you find in Barbara a person who genuinely and honestly cares. Her knowledge of current and pertinent issues that affect this community are a major priority with her. After all, that is really the most important issue, to care and work hard for the community we all share.
