Metrolink Mistake
Do you know what you get when you combine Metrolink’s ticket vending machine and a bureaucrat? Answer: A trip to court.
Metrolink encourages passengers to purchase fares on a monthly basis to save time and money. When I attempted to purchase an adult monthly pass for $208, I inadvertently pressed the wrong button and was issued a student monthly pass for $208.
In the mind of Metrolink’s inspector par excellence this is “fare evasion.” Now the $208 will be wasted on a criminal prosecution. When will Metrolink learn to use a little common sense?
