* A forum on Proposition 186, the California health care initiative, will be held tonight at the California Pantry restaurant, 120 E. Palmdale Blvd., Palmdale. * Reservations are due before Monday for a fund-raising reception for James R. Simpson, candidate for Glendale Municipal Court judge.
