District Enrollment Rises by 3% to 4%
Enrollment in the Cypress School District has increased by 130 to 4,358 students, according to Supt. William D. Eller.
Eller said at a recent school board meeting that growth is slightly higher than anticipated earlier in the year.
“The district had about a 2% growth in enrollment last year, and it looks as if we’ll have about a 3% to 4% increase this year,” he said.
He said he expects enrollment to increase more.
State funding for schools is based on average daily attendance.
