Clint Black, “One Emotion,”(**) RCA. Black nicely broadens his musical vocabulary with some Creedence swamp rock, heartland rock and even country lounge jazz. The willingness to stretch is here--too bad he and his main songwriting partner, Hayden Nicholas, have so little new to say. “Untanglin’ My Mind,” which Black wrote with Merle Haggard, is the standout.
