NATIONAL ROUNDUP : Longshot Post It Wins Keeneland’s Alcibiades
Longshot Post It won the $107,500 Alcibiades Stakes at Keeneland by two lengths Saturday.
Post It won the 1 1/16-mile race for 2-year-old fillies in 1:46 1/5 and paid $26, $7.80 and $18.20. Morris Code returned $7.40 and $12, while Cat Appeal paid $9.
More than $135,000 of the $165,000 wagered to show in the race was bet on 3-10 favorite Lilly Capote, who finished fourth, resulting in the unusually high show payoffs.

Serious Spender beat odds-on favorite Unaccounted For by a head to win the $100,000 Discovery Handicap at Aqueduct.
Serious Spender covered 1 1/8 miles in a slow 1:51 1/5 and returned $12.20 and $2.90. Unaccounted For paid $2.20. There was no show wagering.
