Northrop Grumman Settles Suit for $53 Million: The Los Angeles-based aerospace concern paid the sum to computer maker Data General Corp. to settle a lawsuit alleging software copyright infringement and trade secret violations. Data General, based in Westboro, Mass., said the settlement follows a ruling by the U.S. Court of Appeals in Boston affirming most of a verdict favoring Data General.
